Nikhil Gupta, an associate of CC-1, allegedly enlisted the help of a purported hitman, who was actually an undercover U.S. law enforcement officer. CC-1, described as a “Senior Field Officer” with responsibilities in “Security Management” and “Intelligence,” reportedly agreed to pay the undercover officer $100,000 to carry out the assassination.

Nikhil Gupta provided the undercover officer with personal information about the target, including the victim’s home address, phone numbers, and details about their daily routine.
