The Canadian home of singer-actor Gippy Grewal was attacked by gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Bishnoi publicly threatened the singer on social media and opened fire at his home. Gippy has since stated publicly that he is not friends with Salman and that they just met at a trailer launch event, following the attack.
SALMAN KHAN AND GIPPY GREWAL DENY FRIENDSHIP
Over the weekend, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi threatened Gippy Grewal on social media, broke into his Canadian home, and left an open note. Now, the singer-actor has stated outright that he is not friends with Salman Khan. Salman was called to the trailer launch by the producer, who supported the movie “Maujaan Hi Maujaan,” he said News18. That’s where I met him. I had previously encountered him on the sets of Bigg boss.
He stated, “This happened (early Sunday) around 12:30 am to 1 am,” recalling the attack. The incident happened in West Vancouver, where I live. We are unable to understand what transpired or why it occurred. I had never been in a controversy before, so I was taken aback when this one occurred. I couldn’t even imagine who could have been behind the attack because I have no personal animosity toward anyone.
WHAT WAS LAWRENCE BISHNOI’S OPEN THREAT TO GIPPY GREWAL?
On November 26, Lawrence Bishnoi addressed Gippy Grewal on a Facebook note and wrote, “You consider Salman Khan a brother, but now it’s time for your ‘brother’ to come and save you. This message is also for Salman Khan – don’t be in the illusion that Dawood will save you; no one can save you. Your dramatic response to Sidhu Moose Wala’s death did not go unnoticed. We all know the kind of person he was and the criminal associations he had You’ve now landed on our radar. Consider this a trailer; the full film will be released soon. Flee to any country you wish, but remember, death doesn’t require a visa; it comes uninvited (sic).”
WHAT IS BISHNOI’S DEMAND FROM SALMAN?
Lawrence Bishnoi, a primary suspect in the murder of Punjabi musician Sidhu Moose Wala, informed the Delhi Police in 2022 that Salman Khan’s community would not pardon him unless he expressed regret for murdering a blackbuck, an animal held in high regard by the Bishnoi people. Since then, Salman has stepped up his security by driving a car that is bulletproof and employing guards.
